Having the opportunity to write Lifetime’s showcase Christmas movie this year starring Toni Braxton was a dream come true and terrifying all at the same time! Terrifying because we were going to do a story inspired by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol, one of the most beloved stories of all time and the incomparable Toni Braxton was starring in it. No pressure! The movie is called Every Day is Christmas and Toni and the entire cast, including Gloria Reuben, Michael Jai White, and Toni’s sister, Towanda Braxton, did a phenomenal job and so did the director, David Weaver, and all the producers and crew. I was on the set for filming and know everyone put their heart into making this Christmas movie. I’m really proud of this one and hope you get a chance to see it on Lifetime!
