I don’t know about you but if I’m going to be wearing masks this holiday season I want to make sure they are fun and festive to try and bring some holiday cheer during this challenging time, so I’ve created five exclusive Christmas Camp masks and making them available to everyone.

Here’s a picture of where I’m wearing my Christmas Camp Heart of Christmas Mask when I was doing a book signing of my newest novel that has just been released CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER at Barnes & Noble recently in Scottsdale, Arizona. To be safe there weren’t any people, but the employees all said they loved the mask because it made them smile thinking about Christmas. Even though you couldn’t see it that made me smile ear to ear!

This year I want to make it all about giving back. For each copy sold of CHRISTMAS EVER AFTER, that’s on sale everywhere, I’m donating a percentage of the profits to help uplift bookstores and libraries right now.

To create these special Christmas masks I reached out to my favorite designer Kara Magliaro owner of KTB DESIGN who helped create my Christmas Camp designs that we use for all our fun Christmas items from Christmas Camp t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats, to Christmas Camp mugs ( perfect for hot chocolate) and so many other items in our Zazzle store www.zazzle.com/ChristmasCamp.

One of the things I love about working with Kara is that she can keep up with my crazy creative fast pace. I mean, you don’t write five Christmas movies and four Christmas books in three years by pondering things for days, weeks or even years.

So when I reached out, despite her busy schedule with her design company, she made the time.

What I admire most about working with Kara is that I always have a very strong vision for any design project and come with lots of ideas, vision boards, you name it and that Kara has this brilliant way of patiently listening and taking it all in and then takes everything I send her and makes magic!

I was originally going to design just two masks, the Christmas Camp Heart of Christmas Mask and the Christmas Camp Winter Wonderland Mask.

But then we got to talking about wouldn’t it be fun to do a playful one, embracing the child inside us, or maybe, two…you see where I’m going here. So the Christmas Camp Ho! Ho! Holiday Mask was born right along with the Christmas Camp “Deck The Halls” Mask. Of course they all have the exclusive little Christmas Camp logo!

Only, then I went, “wait!” What about my Jewish friends. They wanted a nice winter mask to wear, too, so we revised the Winter Wonderland Mask to be a beautiful shade of blue and made two versions. One version has the Christmas Camp logo the other does not.

By the time we were done I’m so thankful to say that we’d created five masks together that weren’t just festive and fun but were made of the recommended material that we’re told give us the best chance of staying safe.

Fashion AND function the perfect combo!

As hard as it is to be in this world right now where we have to wear masks I honestly do smile when I put mine on because so many people who tell me these Christmas Camp masks cheer them up when they see them.

I wanted to share them with you here and also give this shoutout to Kara who really is amazing to work with.

Her experience goes WAY beyond creating Christmas cheer. She also helped me create my Travel Therapy line of accessories that goes with my national Travel Show.

Please allow me sing her praises for moment!

Kara is an experienced, professional art director with 15 years of experience. She has worked for American Spa, Family Circle, and Luxury SpaFinder magazines, and several other companies and individuals for various projects ranging from logos and posters to custom wedding stationery and baby announcements. She lives in New Jersey with her hubbie, two kiddos, and two kitties.

The best part is she is available for freelance work! You can reach her on her website karamagliaro.myportfolio.com and just mention “Christmas Karen” sent you!

And I have to share this photo of Kara and her family ( with her permission of course) because it brings me joy and always makes me smile!

Wishing everyone a safe and healthy Thanksgiving!
