Now what about these Karen Schaler Christmas Camps that were featured on NBC’s TODAY show TWICE?!
A lot of people have asked what exactly are Karen Schaler’s Christmas Camps? My wonderful fans actually gave me the idea. They knew that I usually bring my Hallmark original movie, Christmas Camp and my novels Christmas Camp and Christmas Camp Wedding to life at The Phoenician, a luxury resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
But this year because of the pandemic all Christmas Camp plans had to be put on hold to make sure everyone would be safe.
That’s when my loyal Christmas Campers started asking if I could still do virtual Christmas Camps and now that’s what I’m doing!
What’s great is that for Christmas Ever After since my primary goal of doing this novel was to find a way to give back right now I’ve set up that for each book sold I’m donating a percentage of the profit to help uplift bookstores and libraries.
I’m also donating my virtual Christmas Camps to help bring some holiday happiness and hope.
One of the things I do at my Christmas Camps are daily Christmas Karen Chats where it’s a fun Q/A with my Christmas Campers and we talk about making those Netflix, Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies we all love so much and writing Christmas romance novels, where I get the Christmas recipes and DIY Christmas ideas, you name it, it’s all on the table to talk about!
Taking it one step further, this year to celebrate Christmas in July, I invited some of the people who help make these magical movies and write the novels that are adapted on a new show Christmas Karen: Behind the Story.
We got a chance to talk to the director of my Hallmark movie, Christmas Camp, Jeff Fisher, and one of the fabulous actors who plays Ian, Ben Gavin, and so many more. Beyond sharing really cool behind the scenes stories and personal photographs I also asked each person who came on to share some inspiring tips for anyone watching to help pay it forward and uplift others.
Everyone agrees that’s the best part of the Christmas Karen: Behind the Story! More exciting news about the show coming up….
In the meantime, I’m scheduling different Karen Schaler’s Christmas Camps for libraries, bookclubs, community groups, resorts, and destinations, as many as I can, and they’re all unique to what the group wants and needs right now.
